How to Take a Screenshot

Windows Instructions
  1. Click the Start Menu and search for and open Snipping Tool.
  2. Once Snipping Tool has opened, select New.
  3. Place the crosshair cursor at the corner of the area you want to capture and click and hold the mouse or trackpad button.
  4. Drag the crosshairs to select the area you want to capture.
  5. When you've selected the area, let go of the mouse or trackpad button.
  6. The screenshot will then open in the Snipping Tool and you can save it, copy it, or email it to someone.

Mac Instructions

  1. Press Command + Shift + 4 at the same time.
  2. Place the crosshair cursor at the corner of the area you want to capture and click and hold the mouse or trackpad button.
  3. Drag the crosshairs to select the area you want to capture.
  4. When you've selected the area, let go of the mouse or trackpad button.
  5. You will find your screenshot saved as a .PNG file with the title Screen Shot [Date + Time].

iOS Instructions

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device.
  2. Immediately press and release the Home button.
  3. You will find your screenshot saved in your Camera Roll in the Photos app.
