How to Take a Screenshot

- Click the Start Menu and search for and open Snipping Tool.
- Once Snipping Tool has opened, select New.
- Place the crosshair cursor at the corner of the area you want to capture and click and hold the mouse or trackpad button.
- Drag the crosshairs to select the area you want to capture.
- When you've selected the area, let go of the mouse or trackpad button.
- The screenshot will then open in the Snipping Tool and you can save it, copy it, or email it to someone.
Mac Instructions
- Press Command + Shift + 4 at the same time.
- Place the crosshair cursor at the corner of the area you want to capture and click and hold the mouse or trackpad button.
- Drag the crosshairs to select the area you want to capture.
- When you've selected the area, let go of the mouse or trackpad button.
- You will find your screenshot saved as a .PNG file with the title Screen Shot [Date + Time].
iOS Instructions
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device.
- Immediately press and release the Home button.
- You will find your screenshot saved in your Camera Roll in the Photos app.
