Installing HP Printers with Drivers on MacOS

Get HP Easy Admin for MacOS from this link and follow the instructions to get the HP drivers for your specific model of printer:
Make sure to have the IP address for network printers before proceeding with these steps

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences > Printer & Scanner > Click the Add button  at the bottom of the printer list, click IP button , then enter the printer information.
  2. Add the IP address on the Address box, change the Protocol to HP Jetdirect - Socket, leave Queue empty, change the name accordingly.
  3. Choose "Select Software..." the correct driver on the "Use:" box.

  4. Select the correct driver for the printer.
