The parent account gives you access to your student's information and it's our way of identifying you.

Do I have to create a parent account to view my student's information?
- Yes. Unless you already have a Southern username and password.
Can't remember your Southern username?
- Call the Campus Card Desk, x2707 or 1-800-SOUTHERN
- Reset password link
How do I create my parent account?
- When a student grants you access to their account, an email with an access code and instructions will be sent to your inbox.
Can I pay my student's bill online?
- Yes. Student's financial information can be found at southern.edu/pay
- This will require a separate account than your parent account.
How do I update my personal information in the system?
- Email the correct information to addresschange@southern.edu
Why do students have to give permissions for their parents?
- Unless the student is a minor, FERPA protects the privacy of student education records.
- Speak with your student about getting access.
