How to Connect to Roo using Remote Desktop

If you are connecting to Roo from Southern's WiFi or off campus, you will first need to connect to Southern's VPN. 

  • On your Windows 10 PC: In the search box on the taskbar, type Remote Desktop Connection, and then select Remote Desktop Connection. 

  • In Remote Desktop Connection, type roo.intranet.southern.edu and then select Connect.

You will then be asked to enter your Southern username and password. Do that and then press OK and you will be logged onto Roo and have access to your network drives and other resources.
