Change Southern Account Password

To change your Southern account password, you'll need to use your Southern email address and the cell phone number you set when you setup your Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication for your account.

1. Goto http://myaccess.southern.edu and click the "CAN'T LOGIN?" button.

2. Enter your Southern email address in the Username field, and read the Acceptable Usage Policy and, if you are an employee, read the Employee Computer and Internet Policy and click the Confirm Agreement button.

3. You will be taken to a Microsoft MFA page. Enter your Southern email address and the CAPTCHA information.

4. On the left side you'll see the verification options that you set when you setup your Southern account MFA. Pick a method, and then follow the instructions on the right side of the page.

7. You should be able to login to MyAccess.
